Llowarch Llowarch Architects is a chartered architectural practice. Our work ranges from education, arts, commercial and residential buildings and interiors through to private houses.

We are increasingly gaining a reputation for the intelligent and creative restructuring and reuse of existing buildings. Projects are characterised by specific and finely detailed responses, often in challenging urban contexts, or sensitive historic or landscape settings, and with complex programming needs, tight budgets and short timescales.

We believe in the value of sustainable, affordable, high quality design. Informed by our background with multi-award winning practices, we believe that exceptional attention to detail combined with low cost yet robust materials can deliver value for money as well as added value - both environmentally and socially.

We strive for simplicity and modesty in design. We seek to create buildings and spaces that support and enhance how people engage with one another and enrich the day-to-day activities and functions that comprise the brief.

Alongside composition of space, materials and light, we are also concerned with the relationship between the spaces made by buildings, both internal and external, and their wider context in which we believe landscape plays a critical role.
