EPB House

This three storey Victorian house of 200 sqm is a fusion of contemporary and classic interior designs. A complete refurbishment to high standards was carried out throughout and the original features were highlighted without compromising on the modern comfort of the property.
Originally there were two flats, one on the first floor and a separate one on the second and third floors, which were merged together in order to create a spacious living room, a dining room , a separate kitchen and bigger bedrooms. The staircase, which stands out for with its William&Morris wall paper and original decorated metal spindles, connects and binds the spaces on the different floors as a unique vertical element of connection. A new modern extension was added on the back of the property replacing the old one. Previously the extension was encircled by a narrow terrace while now a larger space was created by moving the new one to one side, allowing room for a table and chairs. Every room was painted with different colours to reference the Victorian taste and to create a warm and homely atmosphere.
