Private House

This 1930’s house was the subject of a complete refurbishment which took over the unused garage to extend the kitchen area and included a rear extension with frameless walls to maximize the view into the garden providing a family room and dining area adjacent to the new kitchen. The ground floor also accommodates a children’s Den, Study and a Reception Room with fully retractable doors opening the space into the large, decked terrace. The upper floors are dedicated to the family quarters with two large bedroom’s sharing a bathroom and the Master bedroom with its walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom in the first floor and two further bedrooms with a shared bathroom in the new loft conversion. We have recently been involved in the interior design of the house producing schemes for all the bedrooms and the main reception. The house was featured in the ‘RIBA Architecture Review 2008’.
