The Museum of Africa

The Museum will be the centrepiece of the new cultural and leisure development of the Spier Estate. It is composed of a collection of elements which personify the richness and diversity of African culture and architecture. These are organised into three layers comprising plinth, gallery pavilions and roof canopy. The composition establishes a unique presence for the building and emphasises its status as a Pan African institution of international importance.
